shallow and flat conditions in the rivermouth of Rio Piranji.

Kitesurf Conditions:

» wind direction sideshore to side onshore from south east to east

» hughe flat and shallow area due to protection from sandbars aprox. 400m of the coast

» depending on the tides and the location in the rivermouth it can be very shallow

» chaotic windwaves and chopp at the sandbars

Road Map / how to come:

pass Fortaleza and go on the CE 040 highway heading to the south east. After approx. 8 km you turn on the street CE 025 direction Aquiraz. Follow the Highway approx. 14 km to Aquiraz stay on the CE 040 until you reach Cascavel after 34 km. Keep on driving on the CE 040 to Beberibe pass Sucatinga and after 25 km turn to the left to Parajuru. Cross the village going to the sea when you reach the beach stay to the right.

In the mouth zone of the "Rio Piranji", which is protected through preliminary sand banks, a shallow flat water basin extends. Depending on the tide there can be small wind waves. In the basin itself there are two visible sand banks where you will find perfect flat water condition in windward. Further outside are two extensive but small sand banks where small chaotic wind waves break. Inland there is a mangrove forest. The wind direction is side shore from the right to onshore, dependent in which part of the mouth zone you are. The current is not very strong. In western direction at the beach there is a Barracha in a small bay.
