Road Map / how to come:
Airport "Pinto Martins" Fortaleza to Cumbuco
To come to Cumbuco first at all the city has to be passed. Coming from the airport pass the tiny bridge and turn immediately right and get back on the BR 116 heading inside the city. The name of the street is "Avenida do Rio Branco" Always follow this street and pass a subway (stay to the left). You get on the "Avenida o Dom Manuel" and still head to the beach direction. At the end of this street you arrive at a crossing with a wider road that has more tracks where you turn to the left and follow the so called "Avenida do Abolicao" (running parallel to the "Beira Mar"). At the following forking keep right on the "Avenida Pres. Castelo Branco" heading to Iracema. Always follow this street out of town passing over the river "Rio Ceara" and the tollbooth (2 R$) until you reach a traffic circle where you head right to Icarai and Tabuba. Pass these villages until Cumbuco.
Within a very short time the tiny fishermen village became one of the most known kite spots world wide.
