Road Map / how to come:
Starting from Fortaleza to the west pass Cumbuco and turn after 6 km right on the CE 085. After 8 km you turn right in Coite to the CE 348. There you head approx. 9 km straight ahead and in the traffic circle you turn left to direction Pecem. In the centre of Pecem you turn right and drive to the beach. The spot is on the right hand side. Parking inside the container area is restricted.
Pecem is located about 20 km western from Cumbuco and has a noticeable big dock for container ships which is linked with a long bridge going 1 km into the Atlantic. The original spot is in front of the village in easterly direction Pecem and during tide separated by a small lagoon. The spot is known for its nice waves and located leeward from the docks affecting the wind being gustier. You reach this spot with an off-road or through a longer march (about 500 m). During tide and good swell the waves can reach a height up to 2.5 m. The starting point is directly behind cliffs which are covered by the sea during tide.
